Job description
The role will see you:
Run your own files from onboarding to conclusion (with mentoring)
Help manage legal issues which include paternity, guardianship, children’s care arrangements, Oranga Tamariki proceedings and family harm applications
Represent our clients in Court
Participate in mediations/round table meetings/Judicial Settlement Conferences
Offer advice to our clients
Provide a high level of customer service

Requirements
As a family lawyer you will need:
To have already been admitted, or you are about to be admitted, to the bar
Completed a Family Law paper during your LLB
An ability to build and maintain colleague/client relationships
Excellent communication skills
An eye for detail
An ability to empathise with others
A passion to help others
